Yesterday I showed you a photo
One of the first things we did when we moved into this house, was trim trees. We are surrounded by ginormous trees and feared they would fall if a large enough wind would come along. Afterwords , our yard was brighter , felt cleaner, and allowed our house to be seen.
But, then we had to deal with all of the branches. We mulched most of them, I created a fire pit to burn some of them,
and still we had a ton left. So, my ‘What’s she going to do with…THAT?!’ project was going to involve logs.
My uncle cut the log into little slices.
Call me crazy; But, I love them just the way they are!
I posted the question over on Facebook -Just like last week- and only one of you left a guess. But, it was a good one!
I made little silhouettes to hang on my wall , in the kitchen.
Meet my family (sort of)
This is my husband, my favorite. He always wears a hat . So, his silhouette couldn’t be different, right?
My boys.
and myself.
I’ve seen lots of tutorials where people take photos of themselves, work their magic in Photoshop and trace the silhouette. I just looked at photos on my computer and free handed each silhouette. But, if you don’t feel comfortable with your drawing abilities , I found a really great photo on how to create on for FREE in Picnik .
I stumped you this week!
No one guessed what I was making.
Can you guess what I’m going to make next week? Join me on FaceBook next Tuesday!
Now I’m off to create some Christmas ornaments.
