| DIY stenciled salvage door |
I created that door to be able to be used year round. I simply swap out the wreath for different holidays to create a different look with the same neat vintage look.
Let me show you another option specifically for Halloween. I really wanted to focus on spooking up the door itself rather than the decor around it.
Starting with the “wreath.” I really love creating creative and inexpensive wreaths. Like this Fall wreath I created out of a gifted (FREE!) antique grain sifter, found foliage from around my yard, and a few dollars spent in artificial decorative pieces from the Dollar Tree.

With this Halloween wreath I really went a different direction. I decided against even using the typical round object to start with.
I started with a really old, chippy, broken down and empty picture frame. Then within the frame I placed a deer head. I love the spooky effect it added to the door.
Then I scraped away the original “Welcome” (using a razor blade) and created a new stencil using the same method as the first door. I first started with this image to use. I quickly created this using a “sticker” and some text from Picmonkey.http://www.picmonkey.com/
So that’s two different versions I created using the same super product! I am so in love with this product. Which is funny because at first I was so intimidated by it. Be sure to head over HERE to find out what the product is and how to use it!
