I’m saddened to announce that I cracked open my storage boxes this year only to discover my decorations, what’s left of them have been destroyed once again.
Storage has been such an issue here lately. Two years ago we had problems with water sneaking in every chance it got and mold set in.
Mold=trash.
That’s a tough subject for me. All the cute little handmade things with so many memories…
gone.
Last year , I started over and we made all sorts of new ornaments together. This time, however, I kept the ornaments in my home. Despite the lack of space.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t keep EVERYTHING in my home. What little decorations I had left, were ruined once again this year. We had a really bad wind storm and it totalled our storage building.
{pulling my hair out at the thought of all the things ruined, AGAIN!}
FYI-this year ,as a last attempt, we decided to rent a storage building in town until a better solution comes along.
TIME TO GET CREATIVE
With a month to go, I have to come up with some makeshift decorations with little to no cash and make a beautiful Holiday home.
Impossible? never.

You can do it! A lot of times, just doing some free downloads and popping them in frames works. I did it last year and I did a few this year, too.
I'm so sorry that your decorations were ruined!
However, I was just browsing through the Dec. issue of BH&G and there were a few ideas for felt decorations. Another cute idea in the magazine was taking clear plastic balls (like the traditional colorful glass balls…but plastic and clear) and sticking greenery in them. Then, there's always good ol' paper chains, paper snowflakes, etc. Good luck and have fun!
Oh no! I know you are very sentimental, like me. But I know you can create new treasures….both memories and decorations.
Sorry to hear this!!!
I have had the same happen in the past..peksy critters nested in mine!!! eww!
