.. that I {{LOVE}} Halloween?
My mom was Queen of everything Halloween . One of my favorite things she would do, was make my costumes. When I say homemade I don’t mean “throw a sheet over my head and call me a ghost” type of costume. She is the core of creative-ness and came up with uber amazing ideas and was a pro at executing them with little to no cost.
PHshhhh , Martha Steward who?
My mom is where it’s at.
(She is SO going to hate that I just compared her to Martha Stewart! haha, Love you mom!)
Me? I’m not that great. I buy my sons costumes from a store. But luckily, it’s what he wants. I told him once, I was going to make his costume and he gave me “the” look.
I even live out in the boonies where not too many people even get to see my home. So, I don’t get to do too many decorations. What I do decorate I use for my own self pleasure.
When I hear about Halloween parties at school I get all school girl gitty inside and can’t wait to start making cupcakes and cookies and all sorts of goodies!
Last year I went the creepy route. These were so easy (and cheap) to achieve!
Dirt=crushed oreos,
moss= green glitter
sprinkles, dollar tree special-bag o’ rats and a hanging skeleton (dismantled)
cook and frost the cupcakes as you normally would and decorate!

One week left of my big boys quest to be Prince.
(If you want to donate click HERE)
I made some cutie pitutie cupcakes for a bake sale to try and raise some money.
I went to cutsie route this year.
7 year old approved: I easily mixed up some (three way divided) white frosting with some neon food coloring (found at Kroger)
whipped up some regular ol’ cupcake mix out of the box,
frosted ,
and drew on some spider webs with glitter frosting.
I bought some creepy crawly spiders,flies,bats, and skulls from the Dollar tree (LOVE this store!) and added them on top. Super easy!
I sold out almost immediately!
Waiting to hear the winner of my Boo-tiful banner?
I’m going to give everyone a little bit longer to enter. I will announce the winner tonight…just hang in there!
