A wise man once said,”A man has to keep the momma hen happy.”
A wise woman married that man.
I’m not sure if the saying actually originated from somewhere. It made me laugh. As, my husband always does. I am a daughter, wife, mother, best friend and some times I feel like I have the world on my shoulders. Is there really a better feeling though? Life is hard.Call me a soldier because I keep going strong ,with a passion. My goal in life is to be all of the above. I think I have accomplished that, and more. Kids, husband, home. A self proclaimed domestic goddess, I am.
Two wonderful young boys live in my home, My sons. Six and three months. My six year old owns the world and makes his own rules. He seems to think so anyway. I’m hoping it’s only a phase. Correct me if I am wrong. Does the vocabulary of a six year old only consist of one word “no” ? Oh wait, I’m sorry. There’s “Just a minute,” “Do I have to?!” how about ,”No mom, I do not have any homework. My teacher doesn’t give it out any more.” I have to silently giggle at his Independence. He gets it from his momma, after all. He is a brilliant child. Witty and full of energy, the love of my life.My three month old;Oh my, It’s been a long time since I have had a baby around. I basically get nothing done. He sleeps, eats, poops. All around happy healthy baby. Could a mother ask for any more? I will ,sooner than I am prepared, have my hands full with these two. What’s a woman to do with all these handsome men ?

Is it okay to talk about my other love after saying poop? Well I’m going to anyway. Food. I love food! way back as a wee little chic , I would dream of being a Food Network star. Instead , I became a star in my own mind. I love to cook for my family. Might I add , I have a family of picky eaters!I have a very open mind to food. They have the complete opposite. I have to some how find a happy medium. What’s better than researching recipes and using my family as Guinea pigs? Eating all the yummy food.
What’s in your cupboard? Do you have some random items in your cabinets or fridge? Tell me, lets see what we can come up with!
