Earlier in the week I shared with you my crate wall storage and got a really good reaction.
I love crates as storage. They are slim line and the perfect size for so many occasions. I’ve used them quite a bit .
I use them as extra storage under a coffee table, to hide toys or unsightly extras.
They are the perfect size as dvd/game storage. In this project I removed the stubborn drawers that didn’t open and replaced them with easy access crates.
In my sons room I used them to stow away his book collection.
and I even use them as photo props!
I lucked out and found all of my pepsi crates for a little over $1 a piece because we bought so many of them. Otherwise, they can be pretty pricey. Keep an eye out for the “off brand” soda crates, they tend to be cheaper.

I LOVE crates, but they are hard to come by around here and if you do find them they are an arm and a leg! I have one Pepsi crate, but I hope to find more at the antique bazaar this year

I use mine to haul and display my products at farmers markets and fairs. The ones with the slats to hold bottles hold my tea and salt and body butter jars perfectly. I also use the ones without the slats as trays to take tea out to the orchard.
I can’t believe somewhere along the lines someone said, “lets use cardboard instead.” These are so more useful and reusable!
