It’s almost Easter and I haven’t done any Easter related crafts, decorating, or cooking .
Creating the edible Easter egg nest recipe fore FOLK magazine in January really threw me off!

I kind of feel like it already came and went.
Miss Mustard Seed always cracks me up when she talks about confusing her kids by setting up the Christmas tree in October….I don’t know how she does it! It totally throws me off creating something for a feature out of season.
But, it was well worth seeing my photos in a real life magazine.

I feel like I need to share something Easter related… How about my music sheet eggs? I put together a little tutorial last year .

Even better, they look super cute to decorate with all year long!
Do you have any special Easter traditions?
I remember when I was kid the Easter bunny hid candy and eggs all over the house , every year . I would wake up first thing in the morning with my Easter basket and search for every last piece. It was so fun!
One year, twisting the tradition a bit , the Easter bunny left a map of where all the eggs were hidden. My son is a HUGE fan of treasure hunts . He begs me to call the Easter bunny every year and let him know that he wants him to continue doing the Easter egg treasure hunt!
Then the tradition that never gets old: decorating eggs. My favorite. I usually end up decorating most of them myself. … who says you have to grow up?!
I’ve had the privilege of getting a little sneak peak and let me tell you , it is the best yet!
